Q: What is an eVisit?
A: An eVisit is a video teleconference call between a patient and one of our physicians.

Q: Where are eVisits offered?
A: Currently it is only available in Iowa and Missiour however we will soon be offering eVisit physician consultations throughout the U.S. States that require to have an eVisit to order medications from us will need to go thru eVisit video conference with one of our physicians.

Q: What to expect from a video conference call?
A: Our eVisit software is a web based and mobile app which uses private, secure, and, high-quality streaming video between you and our licensed physicians. The software offers WebRtc technology. Our licensed physicians will diagnose your symptoms, prescribe medication and send electronically prescriptions to our closed door pharmacy for shipment directly to shipping address provided.

Q: What will occur during my eVisit?
A: You will be prompted by our system to have a conversation with a physician using eVisit technology after you have completed your order online. The physician will briefly review your medical history, verify certain information provided and inquire whether you have any specific questions. eVisits can take a few minutes. The physician, at the end of your eVisit, will determine whether or not to issue a prescription, submit it electronically to our pharmacy (unless you specify otherwise) and we will process your order and ship it directly to you.

Q: My Shipping state does not require an eVisit, what is the ordering process?
A: Our ordering processes in many states remains as follows:
– Select the product you wish to purchase
– Register if new customer or login to your existing account
– Complete the free online medical assessment
– Checkout
Our physicians will review your online medical file, contact you via email or phone if necessary. If your prescription is approved, we will process payment and ship your order directly to you.

Q: Why are some of the rules different for certain states?
A: State regulations differ and some states require a video conference before the physician can treat and approve a prescription. Obtaining a prescription from your local physician is a requirement for other states. Yet, others only require that patient complete our software generated online medical assessment questions. During the ordering process we prompt you to notify us where we are shipping medication, which is how the ordering process varies. Regardless, of the process we have made it as simple and easy to place an order with us. Once you have started the ordering process and your state requires an eVisit, we will direct you to have an eVisit, where you will go thru a quick video call with a physician. We will also provide you an option to schedule the video consultation with physician at a time that is convenient for you. If your prescription is approved, we process the payment and your medication will be shipped in discreet package. Your privacy is important to us.

Q: Is an eVisit required when I reorder?
A: No, you will only need to have an eVisit once a year unless otherwise directed by your physician.

Q: What is the reorder process?
A: If you have had an eVisit in the past year and you live in a state that requires an eVisit our re-order process is quite simple. Simply login to your kwikmed.org account, select the medication and quantity, confirm your billing, shipping and payment information and that’s it.

Q: What are the technical requirements for a video consultation?
A: Fortunately, eVisit works on most devices. You can use your iphone or android phone, ipad, tablet or desktop with webcam (at least 1.3 megapixels) and microphone (most webcams already have microphone built in). To download our mobile app, click here for the iPhone app or click here for the Android app, and within seconds you will be ready to have a video visit on your smartphone or tablet. If you prefer to have the eVisit from your computer (which has a webcam), log in to your account at kwikmed.org and see a physician in minutes. You can also schedule an eVisit for a later date.

Q: Can I use a mobile device to conduct a video conference call?

Q: What time are physicians available for eVisit?
A: Currently physicians are available for eVisit consultations Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00am and 8:00pm Pacific Time. If order during off hours you will be prompted to schedule a convenient time to conduct a video conference with one of our physicians.

Q: Is KwikMed licensed to prescribe online on those states that don’t require eVisit?
A: KwikMed is legally able to operate under Utah State Law 58-83 and the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing has also licensed KwikMed to use an online diagnostic consultation to facilitate the prescribing of specific appropriate medications. Through this law (58-83) the following are medications which have been approved for online prescribing by KwikMed: Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Propecia, hormone-based contraceptives, and Chantix. Licensed Physicians are solely responsible for prescribing medications based on the extensive medical assessment and when needed they follow-up with patients via phone or Internet.
We are now pleased to offer eVisit service for those states that require a video interaction between patient and physician prior to prescription being issued.

Q: Do many different companies prescribe medication the way you do?
A: As of December 2002, KwikMed has been operating in conjunction with the State of Utah. As of 2012, KwikMed earned a license from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Because of the very strict regulations and high standards demanded by Utah law, few companies have been able to, or are willing to, meet these strict guidelines. All medications dispensed by KwikMed are from a regulated and licensed Utah pharmacy therefore this makes it legal to get medications online.

There are many online pharmacies across the Web, however these are unregulated. It’s not uncommon for these companies to be based outside of the United States in countries like China, India and Saudi Arabia. As a consumer, ordering from these unregulated pharmacies comes with no guarantee of the safety or effectiveness of these medications. With KwikMed, the medications prescribed to you are 100% authentic as we are regulated and licensed through the state of Utah. These medications are made in the U.S., prescribed by our licensed Physicians and delivered straight to your door the next day.

Q: I want to know if I am getting sound medical advice. How can I know you are giving me that?
A: Before a prescription is ever written by our licensed Physicians, a very details protocol is followed. It is our belief that KwikMed’s online diagnostic medical assessment is actually more thorough than the typical list of questions asked by a doctor in a average fact to face visit.

Q: What can I expect from the online consultation?
A: As part of our medical history outline to purchase medications online you will be asked to go through an assessment that will outline any current medical conditions you may have and it will also inform us of your medical history and provide us with a list of current medications you are taking.

The assessment starts with a general line of questioning and then as more information is recorded it increasingly begins to focus on the specific issues of the patient. Based on the information that is gathered, it may be necessary for a Physician or dispensing Pharmacist to contact you in order to gather additional information or to decline your prescription request if it is not medically sound to prescribe the medication to you based on your health/history. There is no fee for the KwikMed online medical consultation.

Q: If my spouse or significant other would like me to place an order for them, can I do that?
A: You may not place an order for anyone else. The online diagnostic medical assessment must be completed by the patient. In order for our Physicians to make a proper diagnosis and prescribe medications, our system is designed to collect a complete medical history and it must come directly from the patient.

Q: What medications are offered through KwikMed?
A: The medications offered by KwikMed are those that can be prescribed safely with no face-to-face evaluation and can be conveniently delivered to you with cost effectiveness in mind. In addition to saving you time and money, the opportunity to order medications like Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Propecia, hormone-based contraceptives and Chantix online helps you to avoid the embarrassment of going to your local pharmacy. All embarrassment is avoided since you can safely and legally order these medications from KwikMed and have them sent straight to your home.

Q: What is the fee for consultation and processing?
A: There is no charge for a consultation or a processing fee from KwikMed if we prescribe the medication whether you order Propecia, Viagra or any other product. Within the cost of medication any fees associated with having the Physician review your medical history or for having the pharmacy fill the prescription are already included. It is our goal to always keep our cost to a minimum so that we can pass on these extra savings to you. If you decide you would like your prescription transferred to a local pharmacy there is a $90 processing fee.

Q: Do you accept insurance as payment?
A: No, insurance is not accepted as a form of payment on KwikMed. If you decide to contact your insurance company to see if they cover the medication you are free to do that on your own to see if they may reimburse you for the expenses.

Q: How does KwikMed honor Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HSA) Cards?
A: Yes, KwikMed is registered as a SIGIS member for the 90% Rule. We do take FSA and HSA cards as a payment method.

Q: What are the main differences between a brand new order and a refill?
A: If you place a first-time order with KwikMed, this constitutes as a new order. If in the past you ordered a product from us or have had our Physicians previously review your medical history and write a prescription then you are refilling a prescription. Any original prescription is valid for one full year. When you order a refill, you will be asked to fill out another medical assessment like you did previously though this one will be an abbreviated version. If it has been over a year since your prescription has been written and it has expired you will be asked to complete the full version of the online medical assessment.
If you are located in a state which requires for you to have an eVisit, you will not need a second eVisit for one year and can refill your prescription multiple times during the year.

Q: Is it possible for me to have a prescription filled at a local pharmacy near me?
A: Yes, at any time you may decide to have your prescription filled at another pharmacy aside from ours, but there will be a $90 processing fee as a result. When you order through KwikMed, our normal cost of medication includes the Physician review and the pharmacy fulfillment however if you choose to have the prescription fulfilled elsewhere we separate the cost for these services.

Q: What is KwikMed’s return policy?
A: We follow FDA regulations that do not allow us to take back any medications once they have left our pharmacy. If you receive your medication and have questions about it, we will need you to refer your questions to either the Pharmacist or the Physician who originally wrote your prescription. If you prefer, you can use our secure email system by logging into your account in order to contact the Physician or Pharmacist directly. Your privacy is secured with this system.
If you think that the medication you received is incorrect, do not take the medication and contact one of our Customer Service Representatives right away and the error will be addressed by KwikMed immediately.

Q: When the medication arrives, what kind of packaging will it be in?
A: Because maintaining your privacy is a high priority of ours, we do not indicate what the package contains on our labels. The medication is shipped via Federal Express and USPS Express in their envelopes. On the return address portion of the label the address of the pharmacy is displayed. Due to the fact that our orders require signature upon delivery, many of our customers opt to have their packages shipped to work or somewhere that they can have their package signed for. No one will know its contents.

Q: How can I know for certain that I am getting authentic medications from KwikMed?
A: KwikMed is fully licensed and regulated by the state of Utah and we provide all online prescriptions pursuant to Utah Statute 58-56 and R156-83. All of our medications are purchased from U.S. manufacturers and nationally recognized distributors. Any tablet obtained from our pharmacy can be traced back to the manufacturer with a pill pedigree. Today there are no legal generic versions for any of the medications we sell. Those that are listed as generic online are not manufactured legally and are likely made in China, India or parts of Africa and may not be safe and/or effective.

Q: How can I dispose of medication I don’t need anymore?
